Oh God By Jan Leree

Jan Leree Whidden
Oh God?
Where on earth are You?

I walk the walls,
...crawl the stairs
I stammer tunes in verse,
Rummaging through my wares.

I drive the miles
Cimb the hills...
I look under rocks,
Into deep crevasses...
My body born with scars
My words, are broken riddle...

When I am finally still...
I hear the slightest rustle.
Ifeel this surround sound
of You quiet, cell filling glory.
I am enshrouded.
You, are no where found in far.
You, are present, ever.
Right now.
Right here.
