Lost By Donice Jewell Palmer

I wasn't lost at sea,
I was anchored in the dock
when You found me.

I wasn't hiding in the corner,
I was sitting on the shelf
when You picked me up.

I wasn't behind bars,
I was in chains of complacency
when You freed me.

I wasn't stumbling in the dark,
I was walking by flashlight
when You shone on me.

I wasn't running away.
I was just standing there looking lost
when You rescued me.

I wasn't at a party,
I was sitting in a pew
when Jesus saved me.
